Being trained in how to care and support a vulnerable person are invaluable skills that will give you confidence and the opportunity to work in the social care sector.

You can use your skills to work bank, part time or full time shifts across a wide range of services. This can boost your current income or be the start of a purposeful career.

Attending this training will provide you with the foundation certification you need to help you get the job you want in health and social care.

Care Certificate Training

The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge,
skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the Health and Social care sector. The Care Certificate was developed jointly by Skills for Care, Health Education England, and Skills for Health.

What can you expect?

  • It runs for 5 consecutive days ( we can swap days in if you are unable to attend some of the weekdays – sounds like I can change weekdays to weekends). (We can split days across 2/3 weeks if you can only attend part time)
  • You will need a laptop with a camera, tablet, or a smart phone to attend the live sessions.
  • There will be discussions, surveys, and breakouts throughout so you can really get involved and learn from the sessions.
  • You do not need to travel anywhere to attend this training, this can be done from home.
  • There is nothing for you to pay, this is all funded for you to support you to enter a career in care.

Each day starts at 9.30am with some days finishing at 3.30pm and some 4.30pm
